Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program
The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.

January 6, 2014…Business Plan submission window opens & Education Seminars scheduled
The Office of the Budget is currently accepting Business Plans as part of the 2014 Round 1 submission window.  Business Plans should be submitted by the close of the Office of the Budget’s business day (5:00 PM) on Friday, February 7, 2014.  A “postmark” of no later than the submission deadline date will suffice if mailed.  Additionally, two Educational Seminars have been scheduled to address specifics related to the preparation of Business Plans.  Please click herefor further details about the submission window or seminars.

Please note that the Project Authorizationlisting for 2014 Round 1 has been updated and supersedes any previous version.

If a project did not receive an award letter and would like to be considered for the next round, a Business Plan resubmission will be necessary.  Please note that all resubmissions must be updated to follow the Business Plan requirement changes found in the latest version of our Business Plan Handbook.  Only those items (Tabs) that are being updated need to be resubmitted.  Please include a cover letter that highlights the items that are being updated from your previously submitted Business Plan by Friday, February 7, 2014.

Governor Tom Corbett announced the awarding of 58 RACP projects totaling over $133 million. These projects are expected to create or sustain nearly 45,000 Jobs in 24 counties across the commonwealth.  Please

Be advised that projects that have previously received award letters dated prior to June 1, 2012, are NOT subject to new redesign procedures involving the selection criteria, submission of a Business Plan, or use of the revised June 2012 Application Handbook. All projects with a Grant Agreement in place or in receipt of an award letter prior to June 1, 2012, will continue to proceed through the RACP process as before.
